The Temperate Forest of Earth
The temperate forest of the world can be found in the eastern part of the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Paraguay, West Russia, Europe, and Asia. On average the temperatures are around 50 degrees farenheit and they receive 30-60 inches of rain annually. This makes it a great place to find animals and many different species of plants and trees. People who wish to escape the warmth of the south, southwest, and southeast should move to one of these places. Its not as hot and its usually cold in the winter, although temperatures can plummet sometimes. There is a lot to do here in the forest, you can hunt, fish, camp, ski, snowboard, and go sight-seeing.
